Commercial Property Costs 

The costs and disbursements that you will incur will vary according to the type of transaction and the amount of work involved. 


Factors which may affect the costs payable will include the complexity and urgency of the transaction, the nature of the property and the purchase price payable. 


Our fees are calculated based primarily on the time and amount of work involved in conducting each transaction and are based upon an hourly rate of £250 plus VAT.  All work will be carried out by one of our partners or senior solicitors.

New lease – from £1,200 plus VAT

New lease and sale/purchase of business – from £1,500 plus VAT

Rent Deposit Deed – from £250 plus VAT

Assignment of lease – from £850 plus VAT

Licence to Assign – from £950 plus VAT


In addition there will be disbursements payable to third parties which may include:


Stamp Duty – amount payable will vary depending upon the value of the property

Land Registry Fees – from £20
